Hey everyone, two questions. I found using google maps in Toronto and typing Laser Hair Removal finds hundreds of places. I’m only interested in GentleLASE but I keep coming across Elos, what is that? A lot of places keep saying it’s new, called Elos, pain free and the best removal. Is this laser? I’m not going to do it but never heard of it.

My second question is how does “Cynosure Elite Laser System with a 755 Alexandrite” compare to GentleLASE? I found another place that uses this, and their pricing is really good. (Beard with neck $119, under arms $69, Chest and abdomen $219 all in CAD as well). I know GentleLASE is an Alexandrite, so not sure if that’s what makes it special meaning this Cynosure would be the same, or are there more specific things that make it better? Thanks!

You can run a search for both on this forum. Both have been discussed at length. Elos is a gimmick and not new. Cynosure’s machine is Apogee Elite, which is both an alex and a Yag. It’s a good machine. If they know what they’re doing, you can get similar results to GentleLASE. The spot size is just a bit smaller at 15mm.
