So I am now going to do another marathon session with two electrologists working on me. I`ve booked about 8 hours, so hopefully they will get a lot of work done. One on one side and one on the other of my body.

Just curious if anyone has ever done this before? How was it? and did they get all the hairs?

I went for a “clearance” and there are so many visible hairs left, I don’t consider it a clearance if the hairs that I can see were the hairs that are bothersome and noticeable to everyone else too!! I’m hoping I’ll get a true clearance this time, because when I see pics on this site of peoples clearances, theres no long dark hairs! just little baby ones no one can see. But trust me the hairs I have are still the ones that I wanted gone! Waste of $800!! I hope that this two electrologist thing works, or else I’m at a loss for this hair removal!

I feel like this battle will never be over =(

Obviously, I don’t know how well the work was done or how much has been accomplished, but you paid for and received 8 hours of work nonetheless, even if not 100% of the hairs were removed in one time. You don’t need to remove all the hair in one sitting. It is possible that your electrologists moved to new areas before removing every last hair, to spare you some unnecessary skin trauma. Sometimes, it is better to space it out, and let your skin heal in the interim. Sometimes, it is faster to treat similar hairs first, and then come back and clean up the rest, etc, etc. Did you ask your electrologists about it?

In the long run, it’s not about how clear the area looks right after treatment - you can shave or trim for now if you need to - but how well the hairs were actually treated.
