This is my first time at this forum and I’m finding a lot of great stuff. I have a lot of coarse, dark facial and neck hairs. I am looking into electrolysis and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good electrologists in Southern Connecticut. I’ve found a few but I don’t know how good they are and it would be great if someone could tell me what they know. Thanks
You may have to be the one to “Pay It Forward” and go see all the one’s in your area, and report back here on your search. If you don’t find anyone by doing a search for key names of cities in your area, then we don’t have any consumer feedback for that area.
So many people wait for someone else to do the job, and don’t realize that in many places, “If t’is to be, t’is up to thee”
I’ve been going to one in New Haven, CT (not sure if this is ‘southern’ enough for you.
She’s located in the downtown area on Trumbull Street(not too far from exit 47) off 95.
She’s nice, office is very clean, etc.
I have had about 4 session with her.
Overall the verdict is still out for me. My only problem with her is my skin takes an awfully long time to heal. But I am not sure if it’s her or my skin.
I just went to a second electrologist yesterday (in NJ) and had no aftereffects. BUT I’m trying to figure out if its a good thing or if the treatment was ineffective.
Given your other post, I wouldn’t recommend your first electrologist. It sounds like it’s her lack of skill that’s the problem, not your skin since you just got treatments by someone else without those problems. Your second treatment sounds like everything is as it should be. In your first one, it sounded like the hair was breaking half way on its way out, which is due to lack of skill on the part of the electrologist. Plus, your second electrologist uses thermolysis, which is faster than blend.
