Hi,
my question is about trimming hair on neck between sessions. Is 1mm or 0,5mm enough for electrologist to be able to do a good job?
Hi,
my question is about trimming hair on neck between sessions. Is 1mm or 0,5mm enough for electrologist to be able to do a good job?
It is plenty for an electrologist with an excellent vision setup, defined as someone not wearing reader’s glasses off the rack at your local pharmacy.
So I can trim the hair with trimmer without attachment and the electrologist will see and treat all the hair without problems?
Better ask your electrologist directly because only he/she can really answer that. Generally it’s a good idea to try to let it grow out 3-4 days at least.
I would like to, but it is not so easy to ask through internet if a person is too busy…
My question was generally if my next treatment is for example in 4-5 months after the last one, will there be a difference in removal if I will cut the hair to 0,5 or 1mm?
Well, if you trim it like this a few days before I imagine it would make it easier for the practitioner to pick out the anagen hairs if that’s what they prefer to treat.
That is one strategy that is liked, but others like those virgin hairs and treat every follicle that has hair growing in the area for a body area. Female facial hair, on par with peach fuzz, is not something that can be handled like that because there are too many hairs per square cm. There are exceptions though.
I only need a small stub of hair sticking out in order to treat, but ask your electrologist what she/ he prefers no matter how busy you think they are. You may be surprised at how quickly they respond.
Hi Miro, you can keep your hairs cut by 0.5 mm in length, if you want it. Even less if you prefer it. But you should not shave the area because it would keep the hair (telogen phase) flush with the skin and therefore many hairs could not be removed. Most of the hairs on your neck that are close to the bottom line of your beard, are in growth phase (anagen) for a few months and therefore shave these hairs not be a problem (they grow enough with a few days), but the hairs that are below the rest scattered around the neck would be in a telogen phase after 4 months and thus they would remain for another few months. Therefore, shaving would be a bad idea. In summary, keep these hairs cut 0.5 mm for all the waiting time is the best way to monetize your next session, especially if you have to make a long and expensive trip.
No, shaving no way. I will cut it with trimmer to 1mm lenght.
And I have to apologise for the chaos and thank you. You are just great
Miro
