hello everyone

have initiated treatment of full back at a provider with a good reputation locally. signed up for a full course of six. after first treatment, the girl set my next appointment six weeks out. noticed even their own website lists “back” recommended at 8-12 week intervals. this corresponds with what i have heard elsewhere. i don’t want to waste my visits and money on treatments less than effective. should i move that back? what is optimal for me?

equipment is: Cynosure Apogee Elite – Variable Pulsed ND: YAG (1064nm) and Alexandrite (755nm)

my skin is type II (irish guy) back hair is medium brown, not very coarse.

appreciate anything you could tell me…

move the appointment back to 8-12 weeks after your last treatment.Your removal will, as you have surmised already, be affected by shorter intervals. Beware groupon deals which limit the time frame you must complete your package of treatments within. It’s a scam they know your treatments wont be as effective and you’ll end up buying more from them at full price.

thank you zap. have moved it to eight weeks. fortunately i did not enter into any groupon deal and such. just paid for six sessions, there was no time frame…

I will be very surprised if you get results. Doesn’t sound like you are a good candidate for laser reduction. In fact, are you aware of the gamble you take with getting laser hair stimulation in this area?

Gosh the alana thing is everywhere. She needs to rethink these “press releases”. But I dont think it belngs here on hairtell, far as I can tell, she isnt a member?
