I am 8 months into faithful treatment on my face (thermo) and things are getting much better. We are trying to conceive right now and I am worried about after care . I am wondering those of your that have treated pregnant women what you are doing for after care since I would image it would enter the bloodstream? I currently use finpil for day one and witch hazel after that.
I read on the AEA’s site that it is safe but I also wonder if I should take a break during the first trimester.

That is a personal decision between you and your physician. If it would ease your mind to do so, then when in doubt - don’t, as they say. I would personally have no problem with doing thermolysis on a pregnant woman and advising her to use witch hazel and aloe vera for aftercare. What is finpil??
There is no known reason to halt probe electrolysis treatments during pregnancy. There have not even been any proven reasons why one would halt LASER treatments during pregnancy.

James, I believe electro is safe during pregnancy I more worried about products since the skin will absorb them.
Dee, thanks for the advice. My electrologist uses finipil after treatment. I found this about it online - below. Do you have a brand of aloe that you recommend? I definitely want to go all natural. Would you advise witch hazel alone?

I will have to look up the ingredients in Finipil before I can comment.
All I can say now is, the purest form of aloe vera gel is the best. If there are no preservatives in bottle, it needs to go in the refrigerator. Buying an aloe vera plant and snipping a part of the leaf off is 100% pure.
Some people only do witch hazel and they are fine. You just have to experiment on your own and see what works best for you. Keep it simple and clean and let nature do the rest.
