I understand all too well these challenges.
Make sure the insertions are deep, if using thermolysis, be careful not to overtreat the skin. You might find it better with an insulated probe as it delivers heat directly to the bottom of the follicle.
Also, there might be some clients that respond better with the blend as in general, this is gentler on the skin.

I would say; insulated probes (Laurier IBP are great); Find the modality that releases the hair with the least amount of energy in the least time;Tell the client not to be worried-PIH is within the range of normal reactions and it fades over time.
That’s not to say we can be cavalier about it- just aware of it.
