treating but not plucking

Dear Forum,

I have what might seem a really stupid question…

Is the effectiveness of the electrolysis cancelled out if the hair is not pulled out after treatment? The reason I ask is that I find the hairs under my nose too painful almost. If they could be treated and then just left (i.e. not plucked out) would they still be treated?

I look forward to hearing your replies…

Thanks for reading.

Yes, they would still be treated. However, since they have been killed they are necrotic tissue, no longer part of your body. This is not recommended because it is possible that they will fester out like slivers.

Does the hair not release easily once it is treated? It should slide out mostly.

We lift the treated hair out after we destroy the tissue that causes the hair to thrive, otherwise the body will identify it as a foreign object. Little pustules would develop to “eat” the invader.
