too much hair removed!!

This might be an odd question, since everyone here is wanting to REMOVE hair, but is there anyway to make some of the hair that was removed by laser to grow back?? I had it done on my face and it worked great! BUT they also did my hairline starting from near my ear, up all the way around. If I pull my hair back, the left side of my face looks very natural, but the right side looks so FAKE, like a severe straight line and my forehead is a straight line. I miss the baby hairs!! It’s been about 2/12 years since that area has been treated, so there are a few VERY fine hairs growing in, but they don’t seem to grow more or get thicker. Would they eventually grow in more? Would Rogaine help? I’d appreciate any advice!

Are you male or female?

Rogaine popped in mind as I was reading this, but I think it might be too much of a risk - I don’t know how you could control the hair growth, if any were to be had. If so many follicles have been permanently disabled in the area, how could you stimulate hair to grow? If you are fortunate to waken follicles that can still grow hair, then you my have to get more removal to even things up with targeted and artful electrolysis care.

thanks for your response. I am female. I am a bit nervous to try rogaine and end up with a bigger mess than I started out with. I am hoping that in time at least some of the hair will naturally grow back. This is the first time I’m hoping that laser hair removal isn’t permanent!

I’m very glad it worked well for you and I hope you get some hair back in the strategic areas you desire. I guess it would be wise for anyone thinking of doing their hairline with laser to reconsider and think about electrolysis where hair removal can be controlled and precise. Since we are treating individual hairs we can be very selective about what stays and what goes in an unrushed manner. So, thanks for your story. I think it will help others who may be contemplating a hairline fix.
