Tips on what machine to get???

ah okay, it happens to me too

good luck with the journey!

Manual thermolysis is VERY EFFECTIVE! It is all about the heating pattern. Action starts at the tip of the probe and builds slowly up and around it. We like this to look like a pear-shaped heating pattern so that it cooks the lower part of the follicle and the papilla, without disturbing the upper layers of skin (epidermis). We have to think about the amount of timing we use, the strength of the current, the depth of the insertion with the probe, the size of probe we are using (it should match the hair diameter) and how much moisture is in the follicle. These are called variables and we can vary or control at least four of them.

I just wanted to clarify one thing Rhodie, thermolysis that is used for over one second (manual thermolysis), as opposed to Flash thermolysis (under a second such as microflash and picoflash) is effective and many electrologists do this every day with successful outcome.

I am a first buyer of electrolysis machine. the one i used before was pre-purchased silhouette tone st 150-i believe- so it was kinda out of date.

I’ve seriously been look at the Dectro Apilus Junior Plus… if anyone has any comments or reviews then i would greatly appreciate it.

My workhorse still is the Apilus Junior (the predecessor of the J. Plus). The older model differs from the new one in supporting two probe holders. The epilation modes of the two seem to be very similar (at least…). In actual practice the Junior is a pretty efficient and versatile workhorse for heavy duty daily use.
