Time between sessions???

Well, I’ve just learned something new. So, Chris, you are saying that you choose the clients that you want to offer treatments to every 10 days, without charging them?? I’m thinking that was implied. Do many clinics do weekly treatments on a male beard? If this works better then - great!

Thanks,

Dee

romeo, youve obviously seen the diff between weekly and 6-10 week treatments. If I am lasering back/shoulders (skin type 3 gentlelase 18mm/20j), do you recommend me going in weekly from now on? Or keep up with 8 week intervals?

And that’s why so many people go to your clinic because your thinking outside the box. Now when you say long term permanent clearence can you elaborate on that a little? Are you still treating the guy that was being treated every 10 days? If not are you taking monthy photos to document results? I would be really curious to see what the long term results would be after 4-6 months vs. the one that is getting it every 6-10 weeks.

Are you charging a different rate for the customer going every 10 days? What are you charging cause I might be interested in making the trip weekly if it’s reasonable to get in on an experiment like that. I live in southern Connecticut and have been to the city before for Laser treatments when they were first being offered 8-10 years ago.

Which laser are you using for the facial hair removal?

Btw, I am not sure if you are aware of this but there is a Pharmacy out in Cali that I used to deal with that offers a far better Topical then Emla and completely safe. They have been aound for atleast a decade or longer. I spoke with them yesterday and they still offer the Topical.

Emla might be the most popular but by no means is it the best IMO. It’s from a Pharmacy in Beverly Hills and they make special compounds for all sorts of people for all sorts of special needs but they make this pain relieving compound for hospitals and Plastic Surgeons primarily but for others like myself as well. It is much stronger then Emla.

You will obviously need a script from your doctor but that is no big deal just have them fax it in.

The combination is BENZOCAINE/LIDOCAINE/TETRACAINE LIPODERM.

20%/8%/4%.

This is the strongest they can make it they tell me before it starts to break down. They have tried many different pain killing combos and state this is the strongest you will find anywhere.

Apply vigorously by rubbing it in completely. Apply Saran Plastic Wrap and leave it on for (20) minutes. Take the saran Wrap off and apply some more and rub it in and let ut sit for another (20-30) minutes or so. Do not reapply the saran Wrap. This how the pharmistist explained it to me and says this is the most effective delivery. She too has had laser hair removal and is familiar with the pain od Laser hair removal herself so she too speaks from experience.

I have tried both Emla and this and can tell you that compared to Emla it is like going to CVS and applying an OTC topical. That is how much more effective this compound is over Emla.

As with all Topical creams make sure you wash it off after use.

Their number is (310) 284-8675

It’s not cheap. It is $100 a bottle and is 60 grams. 30g of Emla is about $40 so it really isn’t much more expensive buy Waaaaay more effective. Trust me on that.

You might have something similar that you use other then Emla but I can assure you that I have used both on my face and there is no Comparison between the two. Hope this helps.

I got bombarded with Emails after my posting. I guess I have to be more careful next time.

Dee, yes, we chose customers who we feel may benefit from getting
better results by getting treated at shorter intervals. We make individual arrangements on a case by case basis. Unfortunately, i can not elaborate more.

Jman06, I do not suggest that you get your shoulders treated every week. If I were you, I would get treated every 6 weeks.

GNBRETT, the person I was treating on the face every 10 days got
90% clearance and it is off his face and it has been 4 months now. He used to shave TWICE A DAY. Now he shaves once a week.

Another customer that we have has 99% clearance and has only 2-3 strands left on his LOWER LIP. He was getting treated every 3 weeks.

WE use a combination of YAG as well as ALEXANDRITE settings to give permanent results. Again, we can not divulge all our settings on the internet.

Regarding topical anesthetics, I am not a fan of them, as we are concerned with adverse reactions. Sometimes, customers may use LMX4 which is over the counter.

Sorry for all ur PM’s, I kinda thought that might happen. I didn’t mean to open Pandores box with the frequency theory but for the face I think it’s necessary to treat at shorter intervals based on how the hair grows there. I think other areas of the body will react with the same 90-100% clearence rate but it’s nice to see someone is actually getting real results on the face.

I read that many Transexuals go to a place in Dallas to have electrolysis done with lidocaine injections but with results like that adhearing to treatments in weeks vs. months maybe they should look into your clinic.

Well with todays lasers the Topical may not be as pertinent because they are more advanced but I know it hurt like hell when I did my face so I personally would opt for it. I guess its just personal opinion and everyone is different. Maybe im a big sissy and cant tolerate the pain like others but my beard is quite thick so maybe im different then the average person.

How many treatments did it require to get the 90% clearence on that clients face? I may consider coming to ur clinic. To be honest I have not had much faith in the removal of hair via laser due to my experiences but you guys seem to be on the ball and have top notch equipment.

Do you offer package deals and any clearence guarentees of reasonable clearence percentage?

GNBRETT:

You are more than welcome to come in to our Clinic whenever you wish just to meet. We can then share ideas, and try to experiment.

I plan on taking you up on that. Talk to ya soon.

Brett

thank you gnbrett!
