Hey guys,

So I’m a light-skinned Middle Eastern guy with dark back hair, looking into various laser hair removal therapies

I was checking out a local practice http://www.youthfullighttherapy.com and they use VPL technology. I went to their website and read up:

Does anyone have any experience with this VPL technology? Thoughts , comments, feedback is much much appreciated!!

It’s an IPL. You need to figure out if your hair is coarse enough for laser at all first. Back hair is hard to treat because many men don’t have hair that’s coarse enough. This is even more difficult on your in-between skin type.

You should be looking to see if you can handle good settings on an alex machine. And if not, you need a Yag.
