I could maybe make a short trip, but honestly what would it prove? Other than a certificate?

Not so fast!
While most would snicker at the value of the certificate granted by this class, it WOULD be possible to get someone from nothing to being able to make some insertions without the horrendous errors some make when they lack hands on instruction. One would still need lots of hours doing work after this is over, but 18 hours is almost as much lecture time as some courses actually provide in those multi-thousand dollar courses. Most schools spend the majority of the student’s time just trading work between classmates, without much of the instructor’s direct supervision.
All I am saying is, it would be POSSIBLE to make something like this work. I don’t know what this course actually delivers.
In canada , you require a school that provides a certificate.This looks pretty much designed to deliver that.
Cant do it on monday, but I emailed to see if they do this often and if there are motels in the area. Nightfrost and I could make it up for 3 days another time.At the very least it can give the required piece of paper, and later on when I do feel the need to work on others for money, legally could.
I learned alot on electrolysis in a pretty short period. 18 hours? I could see some value if it’s well designed. I’ve seen some of the other schools here, and they delivered almost nothing for 10 times as much . As you say, alot of practising on each other, and me.

Hello Seana, thank you for your inquiry. Yes I do offer classes at other times. Usually they are made to suit. If you tell me when you would like to have the class I can see if someone is interested in joining it by posting it online. I only take 2-4 students per class as the training is quite intense.
There are hotels nearby and I am sure transit of sort as well. Markham is a large area.
Let me know your thoughts.
I may look into this in the new year if nothing else, for the paper.

I dont think i make it in november, a bit too soon to put everything in place but would be very interested at a better date. Perhaps some of us could share a room etc and cut costs!
That’s a possibility Danika. Markham is only a 50 minute go-train out of toronto. I had thought of either sharing a room, or staying with a friend in TO and travelling out during the 3 days. I’m always looking to cut costs I have to. I wont be doing anything about it until after christmas, if then, but it sounds like the instructor does the courses on demand.
Edit: after further emails, the instructor advised she can do a class with just two people. I had already thought of Nightfrost, but he’s taking his time. If I do arrange something Danika I’ll let you know so you can get in on it if you wish.
I am interested but at this time can not commit too soon as I will be out of the country till possibly june.
