the moles turned purple/dark red after LHR

Today I had a treatment with GentleMAXPro, 18mm/ 16j for the lower legs and 18j for the upper) and the moles on my legs (there are about 6 or 7 of them, medium brown color, 2-3 mm) turned purple/dark red. It never happened before with same settings used.

I hope, it is not permanent and will fade? Is it safe, or better cover moles with plaster next time?

Thanks.

Were those settings on the alex or Yag part of the machine?

It’s not considered a big deal, but you can also cover the moles if you prefer. They may crust a bit.

I use whiteout on dark moles when treating with lhr to prevent them from absorbing the energy from the laser. It sounds like the moles reacted, I would suggest contacting your doctor.

I have had this, and I can tell you yes they do fade and go back to normal.

Think about how you should never have laser on suntanned skin, because the skin would absorb the energy and burn. This is what has happened with your moles.

As electrolysis lady has said, if you are worried go and see your doctor.
