The man, an (ir)rational animal?

When I think of how the Electrolysis has been ignored, discredited, beaten, and sentenced to oblivion, I have no choice but to feel a deep sadness. I spent hours and hours searching, researching, and reading the History of this amazing technique, trying to find where, when and what mistake was made for, nearly 140 years later, still most people continue to doubt the power of Electrolysis.

Here, one of the users Hairtell, a guy as smart as a skeptic, and believe me he is very incredulous…or should I say was?.

The photo “before” was taken just after 6 hours of Electrolysis, in September 2011. The photo “after” was made today, a year later. The results of a single clearance are inexorable one year after doing absolutely nothing. Yes Lord! man in his infinite stupidity invents the cure… to forget it later.

AFTER:

(The work was done with Thermolysis and a steel needle.)

By the way, this is the real “before”.

I have curious to know your opinion, in this case, what percentage of reduction you say that there?

That looks like 85-90% Josefa. Would you agree?
I haven’t been here for a long time. Nice to be back.
My clinic is in Scotland; in the Scottish Borders, near Edinburgh.
It is very small and not busy enough but I am passionate about electrolysis and I keep at it.
I have a client that I am going to post a question about. See you again there, I hope. x

Amazing photos!!
If more people could see these spectacular results…

I agree, around 90% reduction.
Like the results I got on my arms after 1 clearance

Well my little Boy, I’m doing everything in my power to make this happen. Take a look at the last entry in my blog.

Cherry, of course, tell me if I can help you with something. In terms of percentage reduction, yes, I’d say that’s average. Some have large bald areas where there are a couple of hairs at most, and in others, there is a little more scattered hairs. For me, it’s a pleasure to have you back.

Josefa, you are almost single handedly increasing the profile of electrolysis, with your knowledge and with before and after photos. Not only is this inspirational to clients but also to other electrologists. The ‘problem’ in the UK with electrolysis is ,more often than not it is just a side line to beauty. They are very few doing electrolysis exclusively, so they are not gaining the experience and the knowledge and in turn this is not passed on to the general public. Many electrologists/beauty therapists will only do 30 mins max and will not guarantee results which does not instill confidence. So again thank you again Josefa for being so free with your knowledge and documentation.

Thanks Mairi. You can not feel lonely when there are people like you in this unique and strange world. What happens in the UK is the same as happens in Spain, for some reason I’ll never understand Electrolysis is considered a complementary service of aesthetics. I’ve always thought that specialization is what sets you apart from the rest. Someone who is familiar with all types of cases, know how to deal with any eventuality and will save more than a scare.

Thank you my friend, after the Nobel Peace Prize, this is the best gift that anyone can do to a European citizen. today.

Regarding use of the world “guarantee” as it relates to electrology: Any guarantee (legal definition) involving treatment or services performed on the human body does not hold up (at least in the US) to scrutiny when challenged in a court of law. Cases brought against electrologists and skin care technicians on the basis of not achieving what was promised (i.e. guarantee) are always thrown out on the basis of unknown infinite variables. Some electrologists claim to offer a guarantee, but technically (and legally) most are “marketing methods” used to sell services.

I have no idea about legal terms, or advertising practices. I’m just an electrologist who has seen too many times how follicles stop producing hairs when the needle has reached the target and you have applied enough current. I do not know how those who have been brought before a court of Justice did things, but I know exactly what I do, and when I speak of guarantee I mean exactly that: [size:17pt]PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL[/size]

If anything in this life I’m sure, is that Electrolysis never fails, and that I will die. The difference is that I know when the hairs will die, but I can not predict my own death.

Wow Josefa, it is allways a pleasure for me to see the cherrys of your work:) I would say that it is 90 - 95% reduction.

Ive seen your work many times here on Hairtell, I had once the honour to let you work on me, but you still can shock me in the positive way with the speed and the kill rate of your work!
