The cause of scars

Hello  ,

What is the cause of scarring in electrolysis?

By scars:
a. Pitting,
b. Keloids,
c. Permenant Hyper/po pigmentation, and also
d. Temporary Hyper/po pigmentation, scabbing etc.
e. and also wrinkles (another user mentioned they had fine wrinkles after electrolysis performed poorly)

That is, for each, what is the main factor?
For example, wrinkles may be predominantly due to incorrect insertion and then damaging the collagen?

For each - how can a DIY’er best avoid these consequences?

Are there specific body areas more prone to scarring than others?

The inside of the arms, toes, eyebrows, upper lip, labia. Are some high-risk areas.
