I’ve seen plenty of posts about texas electrolysis supply but haven’t seen any about their branded machines. I was looking at their blend machine as it looks like a great deal for a new machine and it’s from a reputable company. I’ve been using the one touch/clean & easy and want to upgrade to something faster and better (for my body). I live in ohio. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
I never seen mentions of their branded machine. I’m sure it’s a capable unit since the owner is an electrical engineer who services and repairs electrology equipment for many decades now. But have you contacted TES and asked about pricing for second hand units that do blend, which might be cheaper option than their brand.
They’re not. It’s a rebranded machine that’s in production as of now. Can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head though.
i have the T-400. I dont have any experience with other machines to compare it to, except fpr One Touch. So wow, its so fantastic compared to that, but i’d have to write several pages on how much better it is.
I find the unit to have more power than my pain tolerance can handle. it can easily over treat. THey didnt suggest any insulated needles when i ordered the plain ss ones, which seems are not the way to go with thermolysis. The insulated are much better, but i do find them a bit difficult to place next to the hair growth bulb thingie, so i’m getting more regrowth than i anticipated. I think its 100% my inexperoience and lack of knowledge. Would be happy to demonstrate via webcam, especially if you can critique my technique.
I dont think the machines have any warranty. Mine appears solid on the outside and the plugs, switchs and knobs have a good quality feel, so if they didnt skimp on those, then i doubt they skimped on the internal electronics. They sent two probe holders, a metal thingie with nice form fitting sponge to hold, or a wrist band to wear, There is no retail packaging or user manual.
I paid by bank wire, because of their payment restrictions, probably so they can avoid chargebacks and payment processing fees. Luckily my bank gives out a free bank transfer a month, otherwise… I ordred on THiursday and asked about shipping, they said pending owner approval. It was shipped next day.
Shipping was overpriced. I felt jipped… $100 for regular Signed ups. They could have done the same with USPS priority flat rate for much cheaper. THey say they only charge what tye are charged. Well they dont seem to be very motivated to find better shipping fees. It could have been sent overnight express for that much.
I ordered SS needles to find out that insulated was needed. Thats my responsibility to know that im sure. I had to order insulated, which i got from Ballet. Thats an area they could have done me a solid if they had included a sleeve of insulated needles. But they haven’t followed up asking about my experience or how the unit is working. I’d say its because they are new to this and working out the kinks in this, but they aren’t new to this are they.
Just saying the facts about things, not to degrade TES. Ans again, im not a pro, and am learning this by diy. The machine i purchased im very pleased with and think its a fantastic value and might even cause the other companies to lower prices.
@cherri I’m curious how you’re liking the machine now that it’s been a couple months? I’m in the exact situation where I’ve been using the Clear & Easy but it’s causing a lot of damage to my skin to get the release, and I just talked to TES on the phone today about their units. I’m a total newbie. I really like the price of the thermolysis units, but I see so many people saying to do blend in the beginning while mastering my skills. Do you still find it to be a solid, dependable machine? It’s still so new that I don’t see any reviews for it.
I just ordered the T-103 specifically to address face veins. Are you using yours for hair removal?
Yes, I’m getting mine specifically for hair, though I do have some veins on my legs I may work on as well. My machine finally shipped and should be at my house in 5 days!! I ended up going with the T-300.
Hmm, I’ve only had the foot pedal NOT work one time, on a single insertion. I reinserted and it worked fine. I’m very new, so it can take me a good 5 seconds to get into the next hair, so if it needs a second or two to “recharge” I wouldn’t notice at my skill level. I will say, this thing is powerful AF! And I’ve been using it on the absolute lowest setting for 2-3 second pulses and it’s working wonders. It’s still so painful, I wish it had a lower setting still!
