Tanning after treatment

#1

Does anyone know how soon I can tan after getting laser treatment? I am going away 3 days afterward, and plan on being in the sun alot.

You may want to hold off on the laser that close to your trip.

Usually, you’re supposed to avoid sun for at least two weeks.

If you absolutely must get laser and then go out in the sun (which I definitely do not recommend), you should kepp the areas treated covered or slathered in massive amounts of sun block (SPF 45 or higher).

You can get very serious pigmentation changes that look like hundreds of cigarette burns from taking sun right after laser. These can take months to clear up.
