Taking Xanax and doing electrolysis

Hi,

I would like to know, if Xanax or some other antidepressant drugs could affect the the permanency of electrologic treatments. Is it better not to take any of these drugs during the treatments and allso after, or it does not matter. The treated area should be man (25years old) back and shoulders.

I would be pleased if I could hear an view of some experienced electrologist/patient. Thank you much.

Regarding clients who use anti-anxiety or anti-depressants: These medications have no effect on permanent hair removal electrolysis. Make sure to get a good nights’ sleep and drink your 8 glasses of water (not distilled water).

Thank you very much for the answer

" … and drink your 8 glasses of water (not distilled water)."

Why this?

You are very welcome Jon.

Hi Michael.
According to researcher, Dr. Michael Farrell, people who are not hydrated, feel more pain. Since many people think that distilled water is better to drink because it is pure, I mention that its missing nutrients.

Eight glasses is just a general amount that is commonly suggested. More specifically, proper water intake is contingent on many factors. If someone eats a lot of vegetables and fruit and sits in air conditioning or sips coconut water all day, then the water might not even be necessary. Most of the people I come in contact with don’t eat enough fruits and veggies or sip on coconut water.

If the 8 glasses is too general, another suggestion:
Know your weight (for example 150 pounds)
Divide that number in half.
That equals 75.
The 150 pound person, generally, needs 75 ounces of water a day.
This was suggested by a science/skin care teacher.

Proper water intake is healthy for our skin.
Since too much water can throw our bodies out of balance, suggesting 8 glasses is a safe generalization.

Do you not suggest water?
What are your suggestions?

Much of the information we get comes from researchers.
Now that I noted that, I am taking this opportunity to thank one of the more giving researchers during my lifetime, Dr. James Schuster.

Thanks for the info. I just never thought about it. Makes sense; I definitely don’t drink enough water during the day (But eat lots of veggies). I’ll get my patients drinking more — of course that will mean more toilet breaks?

 funny conversation
