I’ve been getting electrolysis on my face for a while now (chin and sides) and just starting on my upper lip. Now that we’re getting into summer I was wondering about sunscreen/moisturizer. How long should I wait after treatments to start applying? I don’t want to treated areas to burn, but I don’t want to delay/aggrevate healing between appointments either.
give at least 24 hours with nothing but soap, water, aloe vera, witch hazel, and Tea Tree Oil. Some wait 3 days before using anything that is not on this short list.
In any event, you should not use moisturizer on your face until after the skin is stabilized from treatment. If you are still red, swollen, or such, I would hold off on the products other than the after care stuff mentioned above. Keep it clean and dry the best you can.
