Sunny Days

How much sun is too much sun? Now with the temperature at 100 degrees in the middle of summer, how can I avoid potential problems caused by the sun after a session? I try to stay indoors as much as possible for several hours afterwards, but the following days I need to go outside to address my daily obligations. Could that be damaging - going in and out of the car - stores - worksites - and sweating, in full sun? I have been hesitant to slather on sunscreen as I think that I am supposed to keep my skin as dry and clean as possible a few days after the session? What do I do? Thanks for any tips or advice.

Sunscreen is fine to wear. Any “side-effects” from that won’t be as bad as UV exposure.

Not so sure about safeness of sunscreens anymore…

Continuing suncreen topic, Dectro says that, “it is vital to apply to the treated area immediately after the session and until complete healing of the skin a complete sunscreen such as Action de GalaOmbraCrème”

Is it really ok to put strong sunscreen chemicals on just treated skin?!?

Personally, I am not a fan of sunscreens. people who are well nourished don’t need it. Furthermore, your body needs sun exposure to make Vitamin D. Cancer is a paper tiger. If one knew the connection between nutrition and cancer, it would all make more sense.

The only sun side effects after electrolysis are temporary in nature, if they happen at all.

After being treated by Johanne, the dectro school instructor in CA, and now being treated a former student of hers, we put that Action de GalaOmbraCreme on the treated spots. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects thus far. The part Johanne did looks like nothing has ever been done to it (minus the hair). The part the student did I’ve seen some whiteheads, but I can’t say whether or not that was due in part to the sunscreen.
