success story!!

Hi, I’ve been getting electrolysis treatments for about six months now and I can definitely say it works. The areas I’ve been getting treated are mainly the sides of the face, upper lip, and areola. I need to say one thing, electrolysis takes a while, but it is worth it. If you put up the time, get a great electrologist, and treat your skin well, the results are amazing. I had a serious hair problem on my face after laser treatments due to induced growth. DO NOT GET LASER ON FINE HAIR ON FACE (legs and bikini are great places for laser from experience, but NOT FACE). I started researching electrolysis after that. I’ve been to a few electrologists and I was not comfortable with them until I found Arlene Batz (on this site actually). She is AMAZING. In a few months, I can now put my hair up and I don’t feel like someone is staring at my upper lip anymore. She’s also done work on my arms which has a good reduction as well. From the moment I met her, she was honest with me about the process and I appreciated it. She’s fast too which is was important because I don’t live in New York during the school months, so I needed someone who could clear as many hairs as possible when I’m in New York. The conversations with her during our treatments are great too and I love how everything is sterile and clean. Each treatment was a very comfortable experience for me. The best part is she never tries to sell me anything, she’s just an honest and sweet person on top of being a skilled electrologist which is hard to find. After a treatment, you will notice your skin is red and and you might get some scabbing afterwards, but it all goes away. You need to treat your skin well if you are considering electrolysis. I drink lots of water daily, also I use aloe mixed with neosporin right after treatments (which Arlene puts on my face to cool it), and aloe everyday after treatments. For the upper lip, I would also suggest placing ice (in a plastic bag or paper towel) on it right after treatments to reduce inflammation. Also use sunblock and don’t forget to put it directly over your upper lip when you go out. All you need is time, patience, and a skilled electrologist and watch those hairs go away. Electrolysis works and it honestly saved my self esteem.

Congratulations Nek!

You are fortunate to have an electrologist with the quality of Arlene, and she is fortunate to have clients like you.

Congratulations!
