success stories!!

i was wondering if you guyz could post your sucess stories of doing electrolysis on your whole face/neck. and the time/cost it took.

Hello, I’m part way through the process. I’ve tried 11 therapists with about 4 different machines. I recommend (like many here do) finding an experienced therapist using an Apilus Platinum machine.

I’m male and have had treatment on my whole face - with the Apilus removing blonde finer hairs on cheeks, eyebrows and temples. And also on the coarse beard area with the Apilus and the Galvanic multi-probe machines. Apilus has a quicker recovery time - less redness, looks normal sooner.

Regards success on the areas I’ve had treated

  • About 12 hours on the blonde finer hairs over a few months = I’m finding I don’t need to tweeze as often as I used to. So it’s knocking them out bit by bit. I have maybe another 12 hours to do to get the new hairs that are coming through in the future months.

~ Tough beard areas (jaw and neck) most of the hairs don’t seem to grow back from Apilus and Galvanic. Some need multiple treatments. I have had several dozens hours on that area and need a few dozen more to clear it.

Make sure you avoid beauticians using old thermo machines because I started with that and it was a nightmare… very painful, and they were plucking hairs that weren’t ready to come out … the hairs evidently snapped under the skin so that created horrific in-grown problems (big red pussy cysts) for many many months… these are coarse beard hairs mind you.

Cost = about $100 Aussie per hour, on average.

Just FYI, that what someone else did won’t necessarily apply to you. Some are female, some are male. Some have 10 times as many hairs as others. Some are on hormonal medication that prevents new growth. Others aren’t.
