Stubborn hair after laser\ipl

hello everyone

I have a client in her twenties who did laser and IPL facial treatments. As a result, she has a lot of hair all over her face. She has fair white skin and scattered black hairs, mostly on her upper cheeks, neck and sideburns. The hair is not vellus but not too thick. The hair is stubborn and when it comes out it comes without the papilla. Really broken. I find it very frustrating to work on it (except in the neck area, where the hairs come out intact). I have APILUS XCELL PRO. And I tried most of the modalities on it.

tips?

thanks❤

I would honestly try stretching the skin a lot more, never can hurt. Hopefully that will make them epilate better.

I personally would use pico/meloflash or even on the blend equivalent of those on the hairs, if using blend just let that lye sit for a bit. then really stretch when epilating as well.

Hope this helps! you got this!

Based on your description, it sounds like the hairs might be shallow and thin. I wouldn’t expect many of them to have a very visible papilla. I don’t have an Apilus, so I would just approach this with basic flash thermolysis (settings on the lower end at first) and insert a bit more shallow in the follicle.
