Stretch Marks

Hi everyone I know stretch marks have nothing to do with hair removal but I’m pretty sure a lot of people hate them along with hair. Does anyone know any remedy that actually works. Please let me know. I have heard a lot about coca butter. I have used it but it doesn’t really work on me. I have them on my butt, thighs, hip and nipple area. I used the Palmer’s one. I have also heard that once you have stretch marks, you can’t really get rid of them. Is this true?

Does anyone have any recommendations from personal experience???

I have heard that bio oil is supposed to be good. It’s available in the UK so hopefully you can get it in the states. I haven’t tried it personally. Vitamin e is supposed to be effective too.

Stretch marks can go away.
lack of zinc is one of the ways one ends up having them. Supplement with 150mg of zinc once or twice a day and increase your vitamin C intake, along with vitamin A and E and you will watch them fade in 6 to 12 months.

James that made me feel so much better. Thanks because I’m following what you said now. I hope it works. By the way, when you say “fades away” what exactly do you mean? Do you mean that they will disappear like they were never there or become less noticeable? Also, when you say increase vitamins A and E, you mean internally right?

Yes, I mean to increase your internal intake. If you choose supplementation, 1,000mg of E in the morning and again at night, and for vitamin A, I would get “Dry A & D” supplements, and take 5 in the morning, and 5 at night. to start. Vitamin D helps the skin as well, so this pill is a two for one. As for vitamin C, you can’t take too much, as long as you are taking it either in a time release, or once every 4 hours. If you get more than your body can process in any 4 hour period, you will start to have watery stools, and in extreme cases, diarrhea, so be careful.

Nutritionists, often will do a C test, where they have the patient take one regular, non time release 1,000 mg pill of C every hour on the hour, until they start to have a runny stool. They log the amount it took to make that happen, and call that the daily dose and then spread that out over the day with doses every 4 hours with non-time release pills, or with time release, they work it out to get that amount over the course of the day.

Since the time release pills I have seen for Vitamin C are 6 hour release systems, then one would be looking at what ever the full daily dose is, divided by 3 or 4, depending on how many times a day you want to take the pills.

Finally, the stretch marks can be totally erased over time, as your skin is regenerated to a better quality. I know this, because in my body builder days, I had them on my shoulders, and they are long gone now.
