Hi, I have spent my fair share on professional aesthetics (ie: electrolysis, laser and other). I’ve had a lapse in treatments and am nearly back where I began. I am considering the purchase of a Sterex-SX-G Galvanic epilator unit for home use. Is anyone familiar with this unit? Does it have lasting, permanent results? What else will I need? Can anyone advise on lights, magnification, etc?

Sterex is a good manufacturer, but there better machines than this for an beginner. If you are on a tight budget, you might consider what you could buy used for the price of this machine when new.
I hope you are planning on getting a buddy and working on each other. I really don’t have any advise on a set up to work on yourself, by yourself. It is just not advisable.
