My wife has been taking spiro and we have a LHR appoitment for Dec 18, should she stop taking it before she gets lasered. Does it cause photo sensitivity and/or are there any othe problems with getting LHR while on this drug?
BTW she is getting a Brazillian and underarms and is a type III - IV skin type and is so unbelievably beautiful!!!

No, spiro is not a photosensitive drug. In fact, many PCOS patients take it while getting LHR.
I’m more concerned with the fact that you don’t mention the name of the laser or settings being used. I hope you both do your research! Please read the FAQs. It’s important to do this to get results.
Does she has any other problem areas? These are pretty normal areas to treat for any woman. Spiro is usually the kind of serious drug only women with serious hormonal issues take.
She is taking it for acne. She also has some hair that grows on her chin which she tweezes daily so I’m unsure of just how many. We have decided not to do laser on this area because of the possability of laser induced growth. She will get these hairs done by electrolysis once we find a good tech.
