I’ve spent quite some time reading these forums, so I am expecting you to tell me it most likely won’t result in permanent hair removal. Even if that’s the case, how about using it for laser shaving? If it vaporizes the hair down to the bulb, it would be like epilating… Just thinking out loud. Has anyone tried this laser before?

Yes, it works as expensive epilation. You need to consider, though, the power source/spot size. These usually make it unviable for use. Depending on the type of machine, you may also have to replace fairly expensive parts quite regularly, which can also become a drain on your finances.

People will advise you not to do it because it just doesn’t seem worthwhile. What areas are you thinking of using it on? It might make more sense financially to go to a laser hair removal centre.
