Can I have some feedback from someone that is taking or has taken Spironolactone?
I under if it realy works and what to side effects are?
My doctor prescribed me Spironolactone 25m, but I am afraid to take it not knowing enough about it.
Someone else just started a thread on this under medications.

I will be starting on it soon and I know of many who are already on it (but they are all in the transgender community). It is a potassium saving diuretic that as a side effect decreases testosterone levels. It definitely works, but be sure to pay attention to diet (watch high potassium foods) and if you start getting cramps in your legs let your doctor know.
