spearmint tea

this is really frustrating me. i read in allure that spearmint tea can help with hairiness, but i can’t find it anywhere! anyone know where to get it? i want to try it cause i have a really hairy situation that just totally depresses me and i need to try anything and everything.

if you are a male, dont even try to find it.
it doesnt cure the hair problem of men. it makes them less reluctant to sex and also it decreases the sperm count.

ALLURE magazine!!! I’d like to see what they back this up with. These magazines are never careful to find support for such goofy statements.

I heard of this years ago, but don’t personally know anyone who’s tried it. I’m not anti-herbal remedies, as licorice root tea has helped me cut my asthma medicine in half, but for some reason, I’ve never thought to mention spearmint tea (also soothes an asthma attack) to any of my clients. I need try to remember to mention it.

Just Google “Hirsutism spearmint tea”

actually since i am from turkey i should know because the founders of such a things existence are turkish. i havent tried it so i cant share any experiences but i am just saying what i have heard.

some men were complaining about sexual problems to their doctors. after some tests it turns out that their hormone levels were lower than it was supposed to or something like that. the only common thing that these men shared was that they were consuming this spearmint tea. so they claim that it helps hirsuitism for women because it does something to the hormones after some time of its usage. as i said before, since i havent tried drinking it i cant share any experience with you. but this is the story.

The study that ALLURE magazine probably picked up on studied 21 Turkisk women and concluded by saying the usual “further study is needed…” stuff.

Twenty-one subjects is nothing more than anecdotal reporting to me. Randomized, double-blind, controlled trials is always better to prove claims.

Sorry, I am a careful skeptic that likes to see further studies on such matters and I always cast a skeptical eye on information relayed in fluffy magazines. It’s not a personal attack on you, hairy.

Maybe we should be having daily teas for sexual predators/offenders in prison to further test that spearmint tea.

Thanks,

Dee
