Hello, i can have a Sorisa DE-2000 for 75E, what do you think ? it’s a old machine so i guess it would be hard to find needles…
You can use any brand of needle, whether it is the type of cane “K” (unless you can adapt a special needle holders).
This machine is very basic, only HF current, but most important is that it meets the objectives, ie, kill the hairs. I did myself legs, and arms, almost 30 years ago with this machine.
HF current means galvanic ? Thanks you
No, this is thermolysis. You are welcome!
nizyk,
I actually went to reply as you posted this, but something told me if I held off someone with even better knowledge of the machine would give you the what-for.And I was right!
From my limited knowledge of the language the machine is made for, it appear to have the controls of just a HF ( High Frequency or Thermolysis machine. Many good quality machines are.
But thermolysis is not a modality you want to start out with as a DIY project. I’d actually recommend blend though most would say learn with galvanic electrolysis. Either way, for DIY, and for learning as you go, you ideally want a machine capable of both galvanic and high frequency. ( and thus capable of blend)
Thermolysis is a fine modality, but it takes considerable practise to be good at killing hair with it. Thermolysis itself in the right hands can be steller and beyond perfect, but DIY’ers especially starting out, lack the skills to use it.
There’s lots of good brands of machine out there but to start DIY you need to look at the controls and make sure there are settings for both galvanic and HF/Thermolysis.
When evaluating machines you are thinking of buying, always test them first. Jossie did a wonderful couple videos a while back on her youtube channel, on how to do both a bubble test, and an egg white test. Knowing how to test a machine to make sure its working, will save you an expensive mistake, something I learned all too well.I’ll give you this tip, when performing an egg white test to test thermolysis function, start with an Egg at room temperature not one recently refrigerated.
