Soprano Vs Ellipse laser (IPL?) hair removal

Hi! I was wondering if anyone in the know out there has any information on this. I bought a deal from groupon for SOPRANO hair removal because I’d heard this type of laser was effective and quite painless. This deal has now been switched to a different clinic which uses the ELLIPSE MEDICAL system. I am now wondering wether this is as good as the SOPRANO or wether I should get my money back. I’m looking for something relatively painless. I means maybe not completely but not on the level of IPL pain etc. Mind you if it has a great result I might be able to take a little more pain! Any advice would be much appreicated!

Ellipse is an IPL and not a good one. I’d get your money back and look for a deal with Candela or Cynosure lasers.

Effective treatments will have some pain and discomfort involved. No way around it, unless you don’t want good results.

Soprano is painless but it’s effectiveness isn’t that well known. Like already mentioned no pain no gain. However, if you haven’t done laser before the pain I find is completely tolerable because it’s so quick. Like it hurts for that second the laser fires but then is immediately gone. Would be different if it kept hurting for awhile after but it’s not that bad.
