What do you think about this womans technique?
I went to this electrologist 1 months ago for my untouched arms. She worked about 4 hours. 1 week later i saw a lot of ingrowns on my arms. On one of my arm, i counted more than 100 ingrowns, true regrowths.
I thought she gives heat early, before needle reaches hair root. Right?
Well, she’s fast.
Its hard to see the hairs she is treating, but if they are mainly shallow, you don’t have to go down too deep.
What language am I seeing?
I hear two beeps after the insertion is completed. What epilator brand is being used?
As far as the ingrowns are concerned. I’m guessing that the hair was being broken off a little below the skin. Not desirable.
She is using a local brand machine, cesa epiflash. She switches on without insertion, i dont know why. Nonsense beeps are not because of machine. Language is Turkish.
My arms are mess now. I guess she is trying to be very fast but misses hair follicles. I wont go to her.
What is the situation like in Turkey, in regard to electrolysis? Are there several electrologists that you can sample in your locale?. If so, check out the local talent.
Your arms will heal. What you described is not ideal.
Wow, that’s mesmerising to watch! But i’m an addict (to electrolysis), so that’s expected…lol.
Something you said caught my attention - she switches the current on before entering. She’s working very fast so I’m not sure if one can accuratelly feel or see it. But from this video I cannot see surface damage which happens if the current is on too early. On the other hand, thermolysis current on a little bit too early makes an insertion very easy, but not necessarily accurate, which can lead to large number of true regrowth and ingrown hairs. Did you get a lot of largish scabbing after or felt plucking during the treatment?
If the speed is not linked with precision, the result is -0.
Why minus zero? because the time gained in execution is time that you will need to extract one by one all the ingrown hairs during subsequent treatments … if what you pretend is to have a perfect skin without bumps or spots.
What I miss in that way of proceeding, is the extreme care that must be taken in order not to force even a single hair. However, that “small” detail in which the basis of a successful treatment lies seems irrelevant to this practitioner.
There are some good, popular electrologists in my city and in other big cities. But they are overbooked and very expensive. There is a big demand for good electrologists here but there isnt special, standart education for electrology yet.
I’ll take a chance with other electrologists too. I hope, i find a good one.
Thank you Deedra.
Yes Geri, i had a lot of large scabs. I didnt feel plucking but setting was very high. I felt too much burning, i couldnt feel anything but pain.
ı watched your electrology videos Josefa. She didnt slide needle into hair follicle, she stabbed needle.
I dont think she can feel anything like that. You are right.
I thought the same thing - stabbing. What’s with the two beeps after the probe is removed? It sounds like the machine is firing.
blueberry,
You must find real electrologist!!!
Look for electrologist which:
-will make consultation with you( what is electrolysis, hair growth cycles, side effects etc.)
-work with good vision to be able to make precise insertion(the magnified lamp is common but worst, binoculars are better and microscope the best choice)
-machine-not so important
-can work with all 3 modality-Thermolysis,Galvanic and Blend
-Uses different types of probes and to choose the best for your situation and condition
Ask the electrologist for references from previous clients.
Look for cleanliness and ask for disinfection and sterilization procedures.
The list can go on…
Dimi
Maybe she learned her te hnique from that video of the french doctors? I still get nightmares to this day of the skin tenting out as the probe was extracted.Damn you Adrien! You just cant un-see that.
Thank you Dimi. I’ll consider your tips.
good day! What kind of binoculars do you use? What are Josefa Reina?
