hi, i just recently started shaving hairs on my neck area. they dont always shave away and i dont understand why. they grow in all different directions and close to the skin. any advice? thank you
front or back of neck? are you male? what is your current shaving procedure?
they grow on the front of my neck and im a 19 year old male. i just use an electrice shaver on my face and it works perfectly. on my neck the electric shaver cuts the hair but it tends to leave my skin irritated. i like to be able to get a wet clean shave with a mach3 and shaving cream with no irritation but the hairs dont seem to cut off.
what usually works best is soaking the area in warm water for 10 mins, so do it after a shower. then use shaving gel (not cream) and a 3 or 5 blade razor. stretch the skin when you shave and try against the grain and then other directions. stretching the skin should help.
thanks lagirl i’ll try what you suggested…but does it matter which direction i stretch my skin or no?
