I want to get laser hair removal for the “extended brazilian” region and have some questions:

  1. How extended is extended?
  2. How do they perform the laser treatment (i.e. get access to all areas)? Does that mean no underwear?! :o
  3. Do you have to shave all the hair off first? (again access seems really tricky)

Is it even commonplace to do this? Or do only some practitioners perform this? Bear in mind I live in NZ not America, unfortunately.

  1. You will have to confirm the bounds of the procedure with the therapist doing the procedure. Likely to be full pubic area including anal.
  2. No underwear. I’ve done it and it can be very awkward. This coming from a seasoned brazillian waxer. I do feel that the awkwardness will die down with the number of treatments
  3. Yup either you or they will have to shave the region. I’m getting my technition to shave certain areas I can’t reach.
    Best to shave 1-2 days before :slight_smile:

Also further tips, my technition missed some spots with her laser (to risk TMI, on the inner portion of the labia), so examine where your hair is and do not be afraid to ask during the procedure.

Cece you can relax. Its safe to say that all laser techs have seen it all before. Its their business. In fact its a major portion of their business. Congrats on deciding to do it. You’ll love the results!
