Some Guidance

Help! I have pcos I treat it with inositol, have fairly balanced hormones etc. I have unwanted hair growth and doing electroysis- Thermolysis. I am noticing regrow and I was told this is common with hormonal hair it takes longer to kill. But it will be permanent after awhile. I was told the hair grows back lighter then rekill it eventually it stops. Is this accurate also I don’t have acne and I am getting cyctic acne. I notice she does not put rubbing alcohol on the area she treating…

“Fairly balanced hormones” is a meaningless phrase. Hormones are either normal or abnormal. PCOS is an imbalance in reproductive hormones where the egg may not develop as it should or it may not be released during ovulation. Electrolysis should be a one time kill on most follicles and not a gradual breaking down process where the hair gets lighter and finer over time. What is your electrologist using to disinfect the skin before treatment?
