Hello,
I’m a student electrologist currently waiting for my final review (which is recordings of me performing electrolysis). Although I’m thankful for the training organisation to review my work, I really would like some industry professionals to provide commentary on my work.
As i’ve been performing electrolysis for 6 months on the same individuals (~12 hours in total), while I am able to see some reduction on some folks, there are other folks where there appears to be no reduction let alone clearance. In one case I have performed a ‘full clearance’ on a facial area approx the size of a credit card sometimes 6 times with no discernable reduction let alone clearance, yet it’s often read here that “3-4 passes” are basically all that’s required.I see photos of individuals with high density and after ‘first pass’ there is substantial, noticable, “wow-factor” reduction - nothing like what I see in my work.
My equipment is Sterex SX-B, usually in slow thermolysis mode, 13-23 @ 3.0-6.0s using both uninsulated and insulated 2 piece probes.
I am ‘dipping my toes’ into blend but having some difficulty getting consistent results as the control values on Sterex SX-B are extremely ‘arbitrary’ and the current control circuitry is unsatisfactory (tested across a brand new, 1yr and 3+ yr machine) but that is a grumble for another day, expect a more scientific post on this at some point.
I am wondering if any professionals and respected hairtellers might be able to review my video and let me know if i’m doing anything obviously wrong and give me any pointers ( such as @fenix or @Iluv2zap as I respect your posts! ).
I have massive impostor syndrome, and am currently feeling very depressed right now due to not seeing rate of reductions similar to professionals on this site.
