skinceuticals during electrolysis

I’m currently using the following Skinceutical products and wanted to know if it was okay to continue using them up until the day of electrolysis and how soon after electrolysis would it be okay to re-start:

Phloretin CF: http://www.skinceuticals.com/_us/_en/catalog/prevent/Phloretin-CF.htm

antioxidant combination of 2% phloretin, 10% L-ascorbic acid, and 0.5% ferulic acid for broad-spectrum antioxidant performance

BLEMISH + AGE DEFENSE
A 1st-to-market acid combination containing:
2% Dioic Acid
0.3% LHA
1.5% Salicylic Acid
3.5% Glycolic Acid
0.5% Citric Acid

Are salicylic acid and glycolic acid products also a no no during electrolysis?

Thanks.

If your skin is reddened and irritated from using any product, you should back off the product prior to doing electrolysis. If your skin condition is good, then you can use products up to the day you have electrolysis.

Aftercare should be recommended by the electrologist. Some say nothing for XX hours/days - while some say to do your current regimen today…there are different recommendations.

Salicylic acid and glycolic acid products can be safely used, IF they are not resulting in irritated skin. In fact, salicylic acid has been used as an aftercare for electrolysis for many years. Glycolic acid works by dissolving the glue that makes the dead skin cells stick together (a simplified explanation) so again - as long as the skin is not irritated by that product you should be okay.
