Skin Markers?

Hello guys, I am happy to report I’ve found a very good practitioner in my area, and I had a pretty successful treatment recently. I was just wondering, are there any good skin marking tools that can wash off easily? I used a surgical marker to mark out some areas on my upper cheek to work on, but it had a hard time washing off. Can you use makeup pencils are or there special surgical marking pencils I could use? Again, all of you guys’ is very much appreciated.

Does his help?

Thanks for the link, but I was wondering if there was anything more like a pencil I could use rather than something ink. I have a purple surgical skin marker but it’s so darn hard to wash off!

yes, they use white wax crayons for this when marking faces for laser treatments.

You know, I saw these, but the amazon link is for UK! Unfortunately, they do not ship to the US. I am having such a hard time finding something like a pencil to use. Do you know if there are any makeup pencils or an alternative I might be able to order off Amazon? And what would I search for if I’m looking for those white wax crayons?

eyeliner pencils shouls be safe on skin and available at any drug store. I only know of the white wax markers from having had laser years ago, I’ve no dea where they are purchased. It took me all of 30 seconds to google skin safe markers.I suggest you start there.

If you are using surgical marker, the ink is easily removed with spirit or alcohol, Just use small amount and the marking will vanish. Surgical spirit is easily available in stores.

Surgical markers can be purchased in bulk for electrologists that want to offer this option in their office, by the way. We shouldn’t use use the same pen for all clients for obvious sanitary reasons. I have used eyebrow pencils before because they are economical and wipe off easily. I need to contact my infection control specialist about if the same pencil can be used if it is sharpened after use. I ask the client to buy and bring their own pencil if we need to define areas, as it is now. Sephora has a white $6 pencil that would work nicely.

Ah, thank you! This is something more akin to what I was looking for. Thanks!

Most welcome, Zee.
