Shoulders and back - Am I a good candidate?

Hello everybody, first time poster but long time lurker!

I’m a 28 years old male, skin type II or III, and I’m looking to get rid of the hair I have growing badly on my shoulders and neck for a few years now, and the new patches of hair starting to appear here and there on my back.

I’ve had a consultation at a laser centre close to where I live (amsterdam, the centre is lasercentrum biltstraat utrecht) and they suggested to treat the area with alexandrite laser.

Now I’m starting to doubt that some of my hair might not be coarse enough to treat, especially the ones on my back, and I’m concerned about induced growth.
The ones on shoulders and neck seem thick enough to me, but I might be wrong.

Here are some pictures I’ve taken, hoping that they might help:

Similar to my case. I would say Laser would work on your upper back and shoulders but even there I doubt you would get fully cleared of hair. Best case scenario you would find a technician smart enough to mark the areas best suitable for laser with a marker and only treat you there. They would have to be flexible with pricing too. don’t let anybody charge you for more than what you’re getting treated for. For example don’t let the technician just look at the lists of costs and just pick full upper back.

The rest of the hair is way too light and yes laser would probably induce hair.

Your hair is not coarse at all. I wouldn’t touch any of those areas with laser.

The hair is not coarse or dense. Go straight for electrolysis and don’t risk induced growth from laser. These areas are very susceptible. This amount of hair can be handled with electrolysis easily.
