Should I take the plunge?

I have been going in for electrolysis appointments for some months now for my the sides of my face. As of late however, I’ve been really wanting to start my bikini line.I am not sure if I should take the plunge until I at least hit the one year mark with my face. What is the estimate time for lighter to worst cases? Can treating hair along the bikini line take as long as treating hairs on the face and ideally how often can I expect to go in for touch-ups (for moderate to bad)

Please share experiences:)

You will be happy to hear that bikini area work can go faster than the face, if you are getting full clearances on the areas worked on.
If you are now clearing the entire area, you can add the bikini area in the spare time you have at the end of your face appointments now.

I have been doing electrolysis on my face and back of neck for a year…I started laser on my bikini in October…so far, very happy…had 3 sessions…will get any remaining hairs with electrolysis.

If you have a good, fast electrologist, go for it, you’ll be so happy you did.

For me treating that area with laser first felt like a risky, time-consuming idea. Because, depending on the operator, it could work but that’s something which many only find out for sure when you leave the hair untreated for 6 months to 1 year.

Worst case scenario you lose the money AND 2-3 years of your life which could have been spent on electrolysis instead. I’m older and I definitely don’t want to risk this happening, so I chose to start with electrolysis instead.

Thanks for the heads up about laser. I’ve had my own share of bad experiences with it so won’t be going down that route. My worst case scenario was receiving some burn scars plus wasted time and money.
