shaving makes your hair thick?

ok i really need to know does shaving make your hair thick…first off im a male… and when i shave my beard its thick…but my chest hair is soft…so if i shave my chest hair would it grow back thick…because i asked a lot of people…each one has diffrent opinons…and my opinon is it will get thick…because for example…back when i was say 16 i had peach fuzz…i started shaveing( my beard) then it got thick…im 18 now.

No! That is urban legend.

I shave my head completely and trust me, it does not grow back thicker. If it did I will have discovered a cure for male pattern baldness LOL!

Your beard got thicker because of hormones. The same hormones that make your beard hair (or even back hair) thick cause the hair on your head to fall out. Shaving has nothing to do with it.

i know if you shave your head its not gana do anything but for example my beard was peach fuzz and i started shaving then it turnd thicker like my head hair…so im scared that if i shave my body hair ill get thicker.

Your beard hair would have gottent thicker whether you shaved it or not.

RJC is totally telling you true. It’s HORMONES and A GOOD BLOOD SUPPLY that nourishes hair to make it grow thicker, deeper and darker. Shaving promotes nothing to grow.

There have been many published studies done over the past century proving this. Check for yourself on the sister site www.hairfacts.com Okay? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
