I’m a female. My lower arms are quite hairy and my upper arms are covered with a lot of vellus dark hair.I have the hair on my shoulders, etc.

But when i touch my upper arms its soft and smooth and I can’t tell I have hair (my lower arms are smooth too but i can tell there’s hair there) I would be terrified that if I shaved the smoothness and softness would go away and they would be prickly after a day.

For those of you that shave fine hair and that have a lot of it are your arms still smooth the next day? Do they get prickly at all when the hair is growing?

The hair is prickly when shaved because the middle of the shaft is thicker than the end. So this is sort of unavoidable unless the hair is really fine.
