shaving between diode treatments

Question?
I’ve been to three different places for laser hair removal treatment (last only for consultation). On my last visit I was told I could shave between treatments. The 1st place I went to said not to shave. Does anyone know if this could affect the results of future treatments?

Shaving, or any other type of “cutting” the hair at or above skin surface, has no effect to hair growth. They make you shave before a laser session, only so that the laser doesn’t burn those long hairs on your skin. They’re trying to have the laser effect the hair follicles below skin surface. If they shave you anyway right before treatment, I don’t see why you can’t do so in between treatments. I mean as long as they see which area to treat by your next appointment.
