Sensation

Hiya Everybody peeps, not been on the board lately. This question is really for James or Dee, but feel free to answer.
I been on my Electrolysis journey for many years and I’m dishearted with the whole expeirence due to lack of skilled practioners here in the UK. I just realised that I have never had a full clearance and have even forgotten how it should feel when the hair is removed. The treatments that I have had, I have always felt the hair being removed, not that plucking sting, but more of a tug…it suddenly occurred to me that very rarely have I not felt the hair come out. Could this mean the hairs have been undertreated, or shallow or to deep insertions? The hairs are fairly fine with just a little spring to them.

Cheers guys & gals!

If you are not feeling the same feeling you get when you pull one out on your own, you are better than nothing.

It is very possible that your practitioners are trying to treat the follicle without overtreatment, and so you are getting a treated hair that has a bulb larger than the shaft it must be removed from. In that case, you would have a little POP as the hair comes up and is pulled free of the smaller shaft. This is not unlike the core of a pimple coming out from the skin.

On the other hand, it is possible that you are experiencing understreatment, and/or shallow insertions. Without seeing the hairs, or working on you, it would be very hard for us to “Monday Morning Quarterback” your practitioner’s treatments.
