I am looking for information to compare Apogee 9300 and Candela GentleLase Plus for bikini hair removal (very light skin, black coarse hair). Anyone have any information on how they compare, or just about each one separately?
Also, is it possible/safe/effective to complete a treatment series (let’s say 5 treatments) with one laser type, then get touch-ups from another?
Thank you for your help, I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello lasedc
Both lasers that you have mentioned are Alexandrite Lasers, and are great choices for your type (light skin, dark coarse hair). I personally use a GentleLase, and had one client who used Apogee, and prefered GentleLase over it.
It offers faster treatment with a 18mm spot size (not significant for small area like bikini), and better cooling (DCD with cryogen).
As in regards to touch-ups, you wouldn’t get any benefit, because both lasers are Alexandrite
