I had my electrolysis app. today, and after that i went to another office for consultation. Electrologist i met was very nice, and easy going. She asked me about my previous experience and concerns, and i explained her that ,even though i adore my current electrologist, i am disappointed with having no clearance after 7 months. I told her i am looking for a quicker method than galvanic. Then she said she is doing thermolysis, but she is not sure if its so much quicker than galvanic. That left me wondering and scratching my head. I was under the impression that thermo is quicker, after posting a question here on the forum. On the other side if it
s quicker and less effective, doesnt it come to the same? She said i am very much welcome to try to have that first clearance and see how thermolysis is gonna perform for me. It
s also cheaper per hour. Its 50 bucks with her, whereas i currently pay 65 for galvanic. I am confused. I still haven
t made an appointment. I dont know if it
s gonna get me to my destination quicker than galvanic, is it going to have same rate of effectivness, even though it`s cheaper.
Any advice on this is welcome.
I hope everyone is enjoying new year!
Thermolysis is slower than galvanic only if the skill of the electrologist is not up to par.
If insertions are accurate and the correct amount of intensity and timing is balanced, then thermolysis is highly effective and the time to completion is more efficient than going the galvanic route. You, the client receive so much satisfaction when you get that first full clearance anywhere from day 1 to week three or four, depending on the amount of hair you have. Wouldn’t you love to get the hair off your upper lip fast and keep it off for the duration until you reach permanency? That’s a big bonus with using thermolysis that gets you to first clearance.
If galvanic is equal to thermolysis, then why isn’t she doing it and why have you not received at least on first, full clearance from your galvanic practitioner after SEVEN months?
I certainly agree with much passion that all modalities of electrolysis work, but I don’t agree that galvanic only is the best way to approach most areas. Blend, thermolysis, microflash thermolysis would clearly give you hope faster and can be cheaper if your practitioner is competent.
