My city (Ottawa) has had a major storm move through this area with at least 3 Tornados which touched down in different parts of the city. Many areas are still without power 2 days later and several sections of the city have been torn up so badly that entire neibourhoods have been destroyed.
My Office has remained open throughout the weekend ( on generator power only) and I’ve spent much of my time when not with clients ( a surprising number came anyway) serving coffee to those who want, and providing generator power for people to charge phones and other emergency needs.
Myself and my family are all home and safe. I’ve never seen this city so torn up ever. It looks like it was bombed.Old growth trees snapped in half like toothpicks and landing on whatever vehicles or buildings they happen to, entire buildings wiped out.Many homeless.
Needless to say, it’ll be a few days before I’m posting about electrology again. At present both Internet connections at home and office are not working and I dont really know when service will resume. There’s limited Cell service.
