Schools that accept Pell Grant?

Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you knew of any other schools that accept the Pell Grant? The only one I’ve found so far is the Electrology Institute of N.E. They seem like a nice school, but I just wanted to know if there were other options out there.

I’m trying specifically to find 600 hour courses for licensing in Tennessee.

Any help is appreciated!

I will post your question on the closed eletrologist blog and see what comes up.

Okay. Here are some comments I received from other electrologists:

“EINE will help coordinate student loans and pell grants. You only need to come to MASS for 10 weeks for the clinical hours, and the rest can be done online (for 600 hour course) they are accredited, and the school and staff is wonderful.”

“A few months ago when I went through the process to become a Registered Electrologist in Tennessee, there were only two approved schools to choose from and neither coordinated federal funding.”

“I don’t know if Cindy Cindy Cassady school of electrology in pensicola Florida does these grants or not but she is a credited school in Florida”

“EINE is the only one I know of. They have a 600 hour course and you can do all of your Theory online. It’s a wonderful school with incredible instructors.”

“As far as I know, the E Institute is the only accredited school.”

Thank you very much, Dee!

You are very welcome!

A few more comments just came in:

“I’ve been reading the Tennessee Code where they set the laws for electrology for Tennessee. From what I understand, EINE would be fine for TN. EINE also lists their course would be approved for TN on their website. My only hesitation is that it’s not listed on the Tennessee board of Health’s website, but their website is out of date anyway, as the 2nd school listed seems to be closed(the one in TN). I’ve been trying to get a hold of them on the phone but haven’t had any luck yet. I may just write them a letter, that may be better for getting an official response anyways in case they dispute it later.”

" I too had the same problem when trying to contact the instate school. That is why I trained in California at AIE. Ron and his instructors are top notch and know then ins and outs of the Tennessee requirements."

Oh that’s me posting in EI. I’m Jem. Sorrryy if I wasn’t clear!

But maybe someone will find this useful later. I’ll definitely update the list if I find any other schools that accept Pell.

One of the two schools that Dee is referring to is ours. We are conveniently located in Kentucky and approved by Tennessee. Feel free to contact us at: www.sselaser.org for any information.

Welcome aboard. We need more electrology schools to advertise and promote electrology and electrology education on Hairtell! You’ve been registered since 2014 and it’s the first time I’m seeing your school’s name. I read your site and you guys seem to have good team of professionals and solid programs.
