The fine folks at Schick sent me a new Quattro Titanium Trimmer.
It’s a nifty four-blade wire-wrapped razor with a battery-operated trimmer on the end. I will spare you pictures of it in use, but the trimmer does an OK job of trimming. It’s designed for shaping facial hair and sideburns, etc, so I tried using it to clip and trim my arm hair. It’s OK for that. It does give a very close shave, and more blades can mean less irritation for some people. You don’t want to go over the same area more than once, ideally.
The standard caveats apply: these kinds of razors can give a closer shave, but some users may find it increases the likelihood of ingrown hairs to shave too closely. Be sure to shave with plenty of emollients, shave in the direction of growth, and NEVER press down when shaving!
